Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://brewoodskinclinic.co.uk website (the “Service”) operated by Brewood Skin Clinic (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Set out below are the business terms in which Brewood Skin Clinic provides a service to its clients.

Appointments

The nurse at Brewood Skin Clinic is trained in all the treatments on offer to a high standard and undertakes regular updates and Continual Professional Development, this is listed on the website.

Prior to your appointment, we will inform you of any preparation required for your treatment. If you do not follow the guidance this may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged. For certain treatments, we ask that you are prepared for your treatment:

Face treatments: All make-up removed prior to treatment.

Laser hair removal: area shaved 24 hours prior to treatment and free of hair. Hair must not be waxed or plucked for 4 weeks prior to laser hair removal.

Brewood Skin Clinic will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs on time. However, should we need to cancel your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance. All treatments cancelled by Brewood Skin Clinic will be rebooked as soon as convenient for the client.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us at least 48 business hours prior to your appointment. Any cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment will result in our Cancellation Policy being implemented, which means you can expect to be charged.

If you do not attend your appointment with no attempt made to let us know, this will result in a 100% charge or forfeiting a treatment (if a treatment plan has been purchased.)

Late arrival to your appointment may result in a reduction in your treatment time, forfeiting your appointment or a charge.

Booking Protection Policy

To secure an appointment with Brewood Skin Clinic, in clinic, your credit or debit card details will be secured against every booking. This applies to single treatments, consultations, reviews and test patches.

You will need to accept these terms of Payment Protection Policy before proceeding with your appointment. No charge will be taken from your card up front prior to your attendance.

If you do not attend your appointment without letting us know and there is no attempt to reschedule or cancel within the 48 hours as set out in the cancellation policy, your card will be charged to the relevant amount in relation to your booking.For more information regarding cancellation charges, please refer to the cancellation policy.

 

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure that we can maximise our appointment availability for all of our clients. This ensures that we can offer a cancelled appointment time to a client who needs it.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you telephone us at least 48 business hours before your appointment on 07565 002779.

Any cancellation within 48 hours will result in your treatment being redeemed (if part of a pre-paid treatment plan), or payment protection policy being applied, and your card will be charged. The below table indicates the charges within each notice period, which applies to pre-paid treatments from a package, single treatments, consultations, and other paid appointments.

Booking type

Single service or consultation – No show  100%  (This applies to clients who do not attend their appointment, with no attempt to cancel.)

Single service or consultation  – Within 24 hours  50%  (This applies to clients who cancel or re-book within 24 hours and up to the appointment time.)

Single service or consultation  – Within 48 hours  25%  (This applies to clients who cancel or re-book within 48 hours to 24 hours prior to their appointment.)

Value packages.     No show, or cancellation within 48 hours            Treatment forfeit (Clients with a value package will forfeit one treatment for every appointment that is cancelled in under 48 hours or a no show.)

The charge outlined above relates to the percentage value of the treatment booked. For ‘free’ consultation offers, reviews, and complimentary test patches this is set as the equivalent to the current deposit amount – £25 for Practitioners.

Pricing and payments

Pricing: Consultation and treatment prices may be increased without prior notice at any time. Where a client has been given a quote that is not subject to promotional discounts, this price will be honoured for up to 6 weeks.  Where a promotional discount or offer is involved, the price is only valid whilst the offer is active and cannot be requested at a later date, even if quoted previously.

Card payments: We ask that you make payment via card or contactless payment wherever possible. Although cash payments will be accepted.  Cheque payments are no longer accepted.  0% finance: we also offer 0% finance to help you spread the cost of treatment. Although a 50% deposit is required at your first appointment and the balance payable via a GoCardless set up. Please speak to your practitioner for more details.

 

GoCardless Instalment option terms

By signing up to this Go Cardless agreement, you are agreeing to make the monthly payments as per the agreed plan on time. If payments are not made on time, treatments under the plan will stop and the Direct Debit Agreement will cease. No further treatments will take place until all payments are received in full. If for whatever reason you are unable to complete the direct debit instalments or your financial situation changes, please inform the clinic prior to missing a payment. If you decide to stop attending the clinic for your treatments, no refund will be given. If you fail to attend an appointment without giving a minimum of 48 hour’s notice the treatment costs. Be deducted from your plan.

Direct debits ahead run ahead of treatment. So that you will always be in credit at the clinic., until completion of the plan and treatments.

 

Courses of treatment

Payments: All treatments purchased as a course or package must be paid for in full, prior to the first treatment.

Package or course expiry: All treatments from a course must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left unused after 12 months will be automatically redeemed and a new package will need to be purchased.

Package refunds: Value packs or courses of treatment are only refundable for medical reasons. Any refund agreed between the client and Brewood Skin Clinic is calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments already taken, plus any charges for non-attendance. The difference will be the refunded amount, alternatively the balance can be transferred to a different treatment in certain circumstances.

 

Suitability for treatment

We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, prior to any treatment being carried out.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Brewood Skin Clinic with relevant medical history and medication details prior to each treatment.

We cannot treat any clients who are under 18, pregnant or breast-feeding.

 

Liability

Brewood Skin Clinic will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

Clients will be required to read and sign the relevant consent forms prior to treatment. We are unable to provide any treatment without your written consent.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Brewood Skin Clinic with all relevant medical history and medication details prior to each treatment. Brewood Skin Clinic will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Brewood Skin Clinic regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Brewood Skin Clinic’s liability for death or any personal injury resulting from Brewood Skin Clinic’s negligence.

 

Your right to complain

Brewood Skin Clinic endeavours to treat all its clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If, however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment at Brewood Skin Clinic you are entitled to lodge a complaint, either in person, by telephone or in writing.  Where this cannot be resolved immediately, you will receive a letter within three working days to confirm that an investigation into the matter is underway and that a response will be made as soon as possible.

If your complaint is treatment-related you may be required to attend an additional consultation with the practitioner. The objective of this is to provide an explanation or a solution to your concerns. Brewood Skin Clinic aims to give you a full written response within 20 working days, or where this is not possible, an explanation as to the cause of the delay.

The complaint will be further reviewed within 20 working days and you will be provided with a final written response. If the investigation requires further time, you will be provided with an explanation as to the cause of the delay.

This is a summary of the complaint’s procedure.

 

£25 off treatment Birthday voucher

Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

Applicable to new and existing clients.

Cannot be used against doctor-led treatments or consultations.

One voucher per person/treatment.

The voucher should be surrendered upon purchase of the treatment.

Offer applies to single and courses of practitioner treatments.

Offer can only be used on treatments.

Offer is subject to patient suitability for treatment.

Voucher is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for money.

Voucher must be used within 28 days of the voucher date.

 

Recommend a Friend Terms & Conditions

The recommending friend must be a current client and must have had treatment at the clinic within the previous 6 months.

The recommending friend must return for their discount within 6 months of the friend’s appointment.

£50 is the maximum discount possible no matter what the spend.

The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

The completed ‘Recommend a Friend’ voucher must be presented by the friend at their first appointment.

The recommending friend can only receive their discount once the new client friend has attended the clinic and paid for their first in clinic treatment.

The Discount offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time at the managers discretion.

All referrals must be for clients who are aged 18 or over.

 

Newsletter and Clinic Emails

All clients will receive a monthly newsletter informing them of new treatments, skin advice as well as details of any upcoming offers and events.  The clinic may also send out additional emails when particular information needs to be shared.  Your contact details will never be passed to a third party.  If you do not wish to receive these emails, please inform the clinic asap.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Brewood Skin Clinic and its licensors.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Brewood Skin Clinic.

Brewood Skin Clinic has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Brewood Skin Clinic shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
