The Consultation
All treatment journeys will begin with a one-hour-long consultation with Sarah to assess suitability and to explain the treatment process, what to expect, and aftercare. This is also an opportunity for Sarah to complete a detailed medical history and establish if any contraindications to treatment need to be considered.
RF Microneedling with Focus Dual® is a new treatment for achieving skin tightening, lifting, firming and contouring, it uses a combination of the gold standard treatments of radiofrequency and microneedling technology to create a controlled trauma which triggers the body’s healing response of collagen and elastin production.
As part of your consultation, Sarah will also assess your skin in-depth using the Eventis® Skin Analysis camera, allowing a better understanding of what is happening just underneath the skin surface. This serves not only as a good tool to plan treatment, but it enables us to have a starting point to refer to, allowing more reliable treatment reviews. Also, at consultation Sarah offers food intolerance testing, these can be especially helpful when tackling stubborn skin concerns like acne or Rosacea, along with many other health issues.
It is during the consultation that Sarah will prescribe an effective skin health journey to you, including everything from homecare regimes, nutritional supplements and in clinic treatments as appropriate.

How Does It Work?
Both technologies used in this treatment stimulate collagen in different ways. Microneedling creates micro-traumas in the skin, thereby stimulating the healing response, while radiofrequency uses heat to tighten the skin from the inside out. With Focus Dual you receive two treatments in one, meaning that you will achieve a stronger treatment and more effective results than when compared to having microneedling and radiofrequency treatments individually. The result is firmer, tighter, smoother, more lifted and hydrated skin.
Ultrafine needles penetrate the skin to different depths whilst simultaneously releasing radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat the skin in a controlled manner, stimulating a wound healing response leading to the production of new collagen and elastin.
