Lynton 3JUVE® IPL Skin Rejuvenation
The Consultation
At Brewood Skin Clinic we are proud to offer the Lynton 3JUVE IPL System treating both vascular (redness, broken vessels) and Pigmented Lesions (sun damage & pigmentation) a highly successful, pioneering brand Lynton is the UK’s No.1 Laser & IPL Manufacturer and they have been delivering safe, effective and high-quality aesthetic devices since 1994. IPL stands for Intense Pulse Light and filters are used to target different depths of colour in the skin. Unwanted colour on the skin can be very ageing as well as problematic, with conditions such as Rosacea and facial flushing. Pigmentation can occur due to hormonal changes, excessive or unprotected sun exposure, trauma, medications and genetics.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation is a highly sought-after treatment, lightening and brightening the skin to give glowing results and even skin tone. Usually, more than 1 treatment is required (approx. 3) and this will be continually assessed throughout the treatment. Treatment is suitable for both men and women and multiple skin conditions can be treated.
As part of your consultation, Sarah will also assess your skin in-depth using the Eventis® Skin Analysis camera, allowing a better understanding of what is happening just underneath the skin surface. This serves not only as a good tool to plan treatment, but it enables us to have a starting point to refer to, allowing more reliable treatment reviews. Also, at consultation Sarah offers food intolerance testing, these can be especially helpful when tackling stubborn skin concerns like acne or Rosacea, along with many other health issues.
It is during the consultation that Sarah will prescribe an effective skin health journey to you, including everything from homecare regimes, nutritional supplements and in clinic treatments as appropriate.

How Does It Work?
IPL treatment is a safe, effective way to treat discolouration, whether that be red (vascular) or brown (pigmentation). The light wavelength from the IPL is directed at the colour (target) causing it to heat up very quickly. This heat will cause the colour to break down, enabling the body’s natural repair system to remove it.
The colour can appear darker temporarily, but this will quickly fade. The targeted colour gradually fades and is removed through the body’s natural immune system, leaving the skin brightened and clear. Immediately after treatment the skin will feel warm and appear red. specialist Et al. Beauty Collective Mineral Makeup will be applied by Sarah immediately following treatment if required.
