The Consultation
At Brewood Skin Clinic we offer an hour-long consultation prior to your treatment giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and to allow Sarah to fully explain the treatment to you. From this appointment, your first treatment appointment can be booked if you wish to proceed.
As part of your consultation, Sarah will also assess your skin in-depth using the Eventis® Skin Analysis camera, allowing a better understanding of what is happening just underneath the skin surface. This serves not only as a good tool to plan treatment, but it enables us to have a starting point to refer to, allowing more reliable treatment reviews. Also, at consultation Sarah offers food intolerance testing, these can be especially helpful when tackling stubborn skin concerns like acne or Rosacea, along with many other health issues.
It is during the consultation that Sarah will prescribe an effective skin health journey to you, including everything from homecare regimes, nutritional supplements and in clinic treatments as appropriate.

The full list of who this is for can be found here. Dr. Des Fernandes, creator of Environ pioneered the use of scientific iontophoresis and low-frequency sonophoresis to give optimum skin health to photo-aged skin and other skin concerns such as:

How Does It Work?
The treatment begins with a deep five-stage Environ® cleanse, followed by the application of Environs® Lactic and Mandelic LACM Acid Peel, this is intensified by the application of steam for five minutes, at which time the peel is neutralised and the Sonophoresis (Sound waves) and Iontophoresis (electrical current) phase is commenced. Highly active serums can penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, targeting your specific target areas with the probe. Several different serums are used on each patient as most patients have more than one skin concern. I.e., lines and wrinkles as well as dehydrated skin.
Once the target areas have been treated, a relaxing hand treatment is combined with the powerful Dermalux MD® LED to further rejuvenate the skin. Finally, the skin is cooled down to tighten up and close down the pores, to refresh and calm the skin. Finally, Vitamin A products are massaged into the skin, leaving you feeling refreshed, revived, and relaxed.
Treatment time is approximately 60 minutes.
Sonophoresis and Iontophoresis enables 40 times better product penetration of highly active products.
