Belotero® Revive® Skinbooster
The Consultation
At Brewood Skin Clinic we pride ourselves on giving all our clients a natural, revitalised look. Belotero® Revive® is a next-generation injectable hyaluronic acid, skin booster, designed to rejuvenate the quality of skin and revitalise the early signs of sun damage.
We offer a one-hour long consultation prior to any treatment, giving you plenty of opportunity to ask all your questions and to allow Sarah to fully explain treatments and carry out a thorough medical and lifestyle history. From this appointment, your skin health journey can be planned, and the first treatments booked. Sarah will not only discuss suitable treatment options but also prescribe bespoke home care regimes as well as all skin-specific oral supplements.
As part of your consultation, Sarah will also assess your skin in-depth using the Eventis® Skin Analysis camera, allowing a better understanding of what is happening just underneath the skin surface. This serves not only as a good tool to plan treatment, but it enables us to have a starting point to refer to, allowing more reliable treatment reviews. Also, at consultation Sarah offers food intolerance testing, these can be especially helpful when tackling stubborn skin concerns like acne or Rosacea, along with many other health issues.
It is during the consultation that Sarah will prescribe an effective skin health journey to you, including everything from homecare regimes, nutritional supplements and in clinic treatments as appropriate.

How Does It Work?
Belotero® Revive® is an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler, is not crosslinked it is able to diffuse under the skin, forming a smooth even layer. It is indicated to revitalise early onset sun-damaged facial skin. Photodamage or sun damage can be characterised by dehydration, loss of elasticity and firmness, and the presence of superficial fine lines. Unlike other skin boosters. Belotero® Revive® Is indicated to revitalise the signs of early onset sun damage, which accounts for approximately 90% of external aging. As well as this, Belotero® Revive® also contains an additional ingredient of glycerol, one of the most hydrating substances in their polyalcohol family. This means it creates a lasting moisturising effect as it promotes water absorption within the skin, resulting in increased hydration, smoothness, elasticity, and firmness.
The treatment is administered through multiple injections, which can cause a little discomfort. Everybody will have different sensitivities to the injections and Sarah will advise you on how best to manage any discomfort. Immediately after treatment, there may be some redness, tenderness, numbness, itching, or bruising. This is a normal result of the injection. And can last up to a week. During this time, the area may look uneven. Therefore, the result directly after treatment should not be viewed as the final result.
Belotero® Revive® can be injected under a treatment regime of one to three injection sessions depending on your needs. Sarah will book a follow-up appointment no less than four weeks after your first treatment to assess the initial outcome and continue with your treatment plan. Your treatment will start to work immediately, hydrating your skin. All clients should expect to have to have a minimum of two treatments as an initial course, but Sarah will advise on whether she feels two or three treatments are recommended.
Belotero® Revive® can last up to six to nine months, dependent on your lifestyle and age at which point a repeat individual treatment will be required.
